DAY 01 : MEKONG DELTA CRUISING VACATION: CAI BE – SA DEC (L, D)
Your journey across the Mekong Delta starts in Cai Be. A local boat sails you first to one of the colonial houses hiding in the shade of palm trees and coconut trees on the banks of the tiny canals that snake in and out the area. Visit the house of a rich Chinese landlord and walk about the garden filled with fruit trees. Sample tropical fruits served with green tea.You will then go and watch the handicraft manufacturing of products made out of coconut and rice : rice wine, rice paper, popped-rice, coconut candy, etc.
Before getting to Le Cochinchine, the local boat sails through the lively and popular Cai Be floating market.
Le Cochinchine welcomes you on board around noon. The crew greets you with a complimentary refreshing drink.
Lunch is served on board while Le Cochinchine starts its journey on Co Chien river.
In Sa Dec surroundings, visit the brick factories and observe the handicraft manufacturing of bricks and tiles made out of clay from rice plantations.
Sit back and relax on the upper deck. As the sun sets, experience a traditional herbal foot massage before enjoying an exotic pre-dinner drink.

DAY 02 : MEKONG DELTA CRUISING VACATION: SA DEC – MANG THIT – TRA ON (B, L, D)
Breakfast on board followed by a pleasant walk in Sa Dec flower gardens.
In the very heart of Sa Dec town, see the colourful Cao Dai temple, wander about the alleys of a bustling local market, visit the school founded in the early Twentieth century by the mother of French novelist Marguerite Duras and have a look at the Chinese pagoda.
Back on board Le Cochinchine, enjoy lunch as the boat sets sail towards Mang Thit River.
Mid-afternoon, go ashore and have a walk or bicycle ride across the countryside and small towns, along orchard-lined pathways dotted with local houses. Get an insight into the daily activities of local people, meet friendly inhabitants and enjoy a unique scenery.
Go back on the boat to enjoy a pre-dinner drink and watch dusk spreading over the waters.
Dinner and night on board off Tra On.
Transfer to Cairang, one of the most bustling floating markets in the whole Mekong Delta. The local boat slides on tiny waterways between palm-shaded banks for you to see green orchards, local houses, ship building yards, rural and river activites in full swing.Return to our boat and enjoy a welcome back drink.
11 h00 Disembark in Cantho. The cruise concludes.

Transfer to Cairang, one of the most bustling floating markets in the whole Mekong Delta. The local boat slides on tiny waterways between palm-shaded banks for you to see green orchards, local houses, ship building yards, rural and river activites in full swing.Return to our boat and enjoy a welcome back drink.
